A Green Footprint LLC is owned by Elizabeth Striano, an environmental and scientific communications consultant, writer, and editor. As founder of the company, Elizabeth helps scientists, engineers, and others working in scientific organizations to communicate more effectively with decision-makers, industry, the public, and the media.
Elizabeth has more than 10 years of professional experience in science-based leadership roles and over 15 years in science communications. Elizabeth has specialized subject matter expertise on issues related to the environment, water, energy and air, waste and recycling, public health, and sustainability.
She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism/communications, a master’s degree in biology, and is currently pursuing a PhD in environmental science at George Mason University with a focus on water resource issues, conservation, and biodiversity.
By combining her communications experience with her scientific knowledge, Elizabeth effectively breaks down complex ideas into accessible, compelling language using a variety of media.
